Webster's Pages Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Webster's Pages Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Jamie Harder's blog, you're right on track. However, if you've just stumbled upon this hop, you can join in on the fun by starting from the beginning at the Webster's Pages blog {HERE}. Trust me, you won't want to miss out. Why? Because some lucky winner is going to find a pot of gold...A.K.A. a pile of Webster's Pages goodies!

Let's keep going, shall we?

Here is the complete Blog Hop list, in order:

As you know, some of us good girls have used green on our projects, whereas the naughty girls have not. Have you been able to spot them?

Of course, I'm a good girl. And used plenty of green :) Here is a card using the "Party Time" collection:

"Have a Ball!"
What a gorgeous, fun collection this is! I just cannot get enough :) I thought this party table image was perfect for this card. I had fun adding some little extra details to the party hat- way too adorable.

Here you can see how I've used one of the new wood frame embellishments as a backdrop for the table.

The beauty of Webster's Pages trims is that they are so interchangeable with so many different collections. This tinsel trim was perfectly festive for a party card.

And just because I was having so much fun creating with the Party Time collection, I went ahead and started on a handmade notebook.

I used a cereal box to create my front and back covers. Just simply cut a 7" x 10" piece and fold in half to create a 5" x 7" book. The inside pages are hand stitched in before my paper is added to the outside for a clean, seamless look :)

But that is it from me today! I hope you've enjoyed my projects and those along the way.

There's much more to be seen- and you've almost made it to that pot of gold!

Your next stop: the beautiful Emeline Seet!

Webster's Pages Blog Hop!

Good morning and welcome to the Webster's Pages Blog Hop!

We're getting into the spirit of the holiday season and giving away cards and goodies :)
Each of the design team members has created a card for the designer following them in the hop, and Webster's Pages has prizes hidden along the way- but we're not telling you where- so make sure you visit each of the stops to make sure you have a chance at one of them!!

If you arrived at my blog from the Webster's Pages blog, you are right on track. If not, head back to the beginning HERE.

A complete list of the hop is as follows:

I have the pleasure of creating a card for Jill Cornell, who is one of our beautifully talented Clean & Simple Designers! I hope you enjoy this, Jill!

"The Most Wonderful Time of the Year"
I have officially fallen in love with the "It's Christmas!" collection designed by Allison Kreft. I went ultra-classic with the red and white here, adding just a hint of textured layers.

Here is another card I created using this collection, featured on the Webster's Pages blog earlier this week:

"Happy Holidays"

There is so much more to see along the way!
Your next stop is Jill :)

We have papers from the "Invitation" collection from Les Papiers de Pandore and even some "Modern Romance" from Webster's Pages!

And we all love add-ons! Check out the gorgeous Flower Add-On:

And of course the always amazing Embellishment Add-On:

How about some projects?? I have two to share!

"To Be Treasured"
After capturing this photo of my two boys on Easter, I was a little worried about finding a way to scrap it in color. But upon seeing the beautiful May kit, I was so excited because I knew I would be able to get it done! SO many colors and options with this kit makes for so much versatility!

From the Flower Add-On:
Manor House: Winters Song: White
Webster's Pages: Perfect Petals: Park Drive
Prima: Lifetime: Mini Stem Roses
Prima: Lifetime: Roses

From the Embellishment Add-On:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam: Smooches
Blue Fern Studios: Chipboard: Lattice Fence
"Altered Box"
I am loving doing altered projects at this moment, and this box was such a fun treat to put together! I think that "busier" patterns work great on projects like these, so I took advantage of this gorgeous paper from Les Papiers de Pandore before tackling the cluster work up top. As we draw nearer to Mother's Day, I thought this would be a nice gift for my mom...or maybe even my mother-in-law (depending on my mood- ha!).

 From the Flower Add-On:

Prima: Lifetime: Fabric Flowers: Green

**For my October giveaway, please go HERE**

Hi there everyone and welcome to the C'est Magnifique Kits First Anniversary Blog Hop~! If you arrived here from the 7 Dots Studio blog, then you're right on track! OR, if you just happened upon my blog, you can start from the beginning of the hop HERE at the C'est Magnifique Kits blog. Why? Because there are a TON of amazing prizes to be won and plenty of scrappy inspiration along the way and you definitely don't want to miss out on any of it~!!

Blog Hop Order:

For those of you who are visiting my blog for the first time, my name is Erin Blegen and I've been a proud member of the C'est Magnifique Design Team since last April. If you are new to C'est Magnifique, then you are definitely in for a treat! Just look at the fabulous November kit "Between Sunrise and Sunset":

Here's a closer look at the beautiful 7 Dots Studio "Domestic Goddess" Papers:

And of course the add-ons! First, the flower add-on:

The Embellishment Add-Ons (the second is a very special 7 Dots Studio Add-On!):

And here is a peek at two of my layouts using this amazing kit:

"Sweet"
I knew I wanted to draw on all the pink shades in this fabulous kit for a page about my sweet little girl. I misted the applique and used it as a flourish in my cluster and then added just a few mist droplets to my layout and that was all it needed! I love that these papers already have that mixed media look to them, so you don't necessarily have to do anything to them at all which makes it nice and easy for us!

From the Flower Add-On:
Prima: Soubrette: Pink/Orange
Prima: Serenade: Pink

From the Embellishment Add-On:
Cheep Trims: Applique
Prima: Romance Novel Alpha Stickers

From the 7 Dots Studio Add-On:
7 Dots Studio: Domestic Goddess: Stickers 12x12
7 Dots Studio: Domestic Goddess: Stickers 6x12
7 Dots Studio: Domestic Goddess: Tags

"Pirate"
I have the greatest book ever for toddlers that is just full of ideas for activities you can do with your child. From this book we found the "Paper Bag Pirate" idea. You create a vest out of a paper bag and then allow your child to color/decorate as he/she likes. Then use a fabric remnant for a bandana and make an eye patch and sword out of cardboard. My son Wyatt thought he was the coolest pirate around!
I love how the reddish/smoky paper really brings the energy to this layout. I used a basic design to keep the attention on my photo and even though I used red and pink flowers here, it doesn't feel feminine at all!

 From the Flower Add-On:
Prima: Soubrette: Pink/Orange
Prima: Valentine Vine: Red
Prima: Serenade: Pink

From the Embellishment Add-On:
