Some Prima Projects!

Good morning :)

Today I'd like to catch up on a couple of Prima projects!

First up, is a thankful-themed card:

"Thankful for You"

I wanted to create a fun card that would be perfect for your best girlfriend! I have used the beautiful "Princes" collection which I adore for its muted, neutral, soft shabby chic color palette. 

I used one of the new Julie Nutting "Mini Dolls" which are absolutely adorable! 

Also put to use some favorite Prima dies and plenty of new release flowers too.

Next, we have a fall-themed Pin Spin project, where we find an inspiration photo on Pinterest and create a project inspired by that photo!

"Pals"

 I love this photo of my younger two children, who are just 13 months apart. I remember how scared I was to have kids so close together, and many people told me that when they got just a little bit older, they would be like twins. And they are! It truly feels as if there is no age gap at all :)

Prima: Featuring NEW Wood Icons!

Today's post is all about the new release wood icons from Prima! I must say I am absolutely in love with the fact that some of these come printed. If you're short on time (as I am MOST of the time), this is an absoulte time saver when it comes to wanting to dress up your wood icons. It's already done for you!

"Fall Tag"

I've used lots of "Cigar Box Secrets" goodies here! The "Special" sentiment is one such printed wood icon- isn't it awesome? I love it so much! The crown wood icon a little further up was actually flipped to the backside for the raw look :)

Hand-cut details, tons of new release flowers, and bling went into this tag. I really went for a blend of colors that would compliment the change of seasons here...

Prima's November BAP~!

Hi there everyone! Today I am sharing with you a sample created for this month's BAP sketch from Prima! This is such a popular challenge, and I'm sure you will be inspired to create with this sketch. Take a look :)

"Glory"

This canvas was created as a partnering piece to my "Autumn" canvas in my previous post. This time I used a 12"x12" canvas to create a little contrast to my 8"x10" canvas. I loved capturing the beauty of this short-lived season :)

Selected Scrapper @ Skissedilla: Week 2~!

Hey there everyone! As you might recall, I am the "Selected Scrapper" this month at Skissedilla, which means I have the pleasure of being able to play along with their talented team all month long :)~! Today we reveal Sketch #193 and this one I definitely made my own!

"My Boys"

I love this picture of my boys. Perhaps I love it because I actually got both of them in the same shot- without Gunner running away, lol. But nonetheless- I love it :).

Here is Sketch #193:

I've rotated the sketch one turn to the right to compliment my photo. I then stuck to the sketch by keeping everything to the left side of my layout, and replacing the house/tree image with a quote.
