"One" More Webster's Project!!

**For my September giveaway, please go HERE**

Wow, what a week! It's definitely been busy here on the blog, especially with Webster's Pages projects! But that's a good thing~ you all know how much I love creating with their products :D :D :D~! And today I have one more to share with you for the week, this time my project that I put together for the live chat we had over at ACOT last Wednesday. Let me tell you, THAT was fun! If you weren't able to join us this time, I really hope you do next time. We got some inside info on what's coming up for Webster's, had some good laughs, and talked about our favorite products. Who wouldn't enjoy that?!

This layout features the new Once Upon A Halloween collection. I've again used it on a non-Halloween layout, and I love that it can be used in just such a way. The colors are gorgeous. I can't believe that about a year ago I named the color purple my "nemesis". I LOVE it now!! And since my daughter wore this beautiful purple skirt on her birthday, it perfectly compliments my photos :)~!

"One"
I really wanted to put something together that was as delicate and sweet as my little girl...

Of course there was fussy cutting. Webster's is always good for that! I like to do my fussy cutting before I start my project (as I mentioned yesterday) and because it can take a while sometimes, I like to do it when I'm not actually working on a project. So I'll sit down on the couch while the kids play and just cut away. When I'm not pressured to "hurry up and get it done", I do a much better and more detailed job.

I also love to fussy cut the trims! I fell especially hard for the Large Natural Circles trim. I love the soft, almost "homey" feel of it! I've used it in many different places throughout my layout, including here under my title...

...and here, draped over the top of my frame!

This beautiful little flower center is from the Once Upon A Halloween Cameos Perfect Pack. I've added a little rhinestone to the center as well :).

Here I've used the Cream Flower from the Charm Set as another flower center, with some more bling to top it off!

Webster's Pages Products Used:

Other Products Used:
  • Manor House Creations & Prima Marketing Flowers
  • Fiskars Circle Punch
  • Martha Stewart "Optic Dot" & "Garden Rail" Border Punches
  • book page, seam binding

I hope you've enjoyed my non-Halloween, Halloween collection layout :) hee hee!! I really enjoyed putting it together. And if you haven't checked out the Webster's Pages blog yet today, be sure to do so! They've just announced their September challenge, which involves mixing & matching (which we've been doing all week at the Webster's blog!) collections! See HERE for full details~ the winner will receive the collection kit of their choice!!

Have a great weekend!!

Scrap FX~ June Reveal #2

**If you're here for my Housewarming GIVEAWAYS, please go--->HERE!**

Hey! Hope you've all had a great start to your week :). I'm excited because tomorrow is my wedding anniversary...not that we have any plans~ 3 little kids tend to keep us at home! But I'm sure we'll find a way to make it special :). We don't generally exchange gifts, but I'm hoping to at least grill some steaks and have a nice supper...maybe a glass of champagne (or two!)...

But that's tomorrow. Today I'm here to share with you my last two Scrap FX projects for the month! The theme is "Birthdays" and what luck- my beautiful niece Lilah just turned two this past Friday. Of course I attended her party and my sister Kelly even asked me to play photographer for her, so I got my pick of photos with which to work!

"Happy Birthday"

Scrap FX Chipboard used on this layout:

~ I've used my Martha Stewart Texture Effect (new fave of mine!) to create the "stucco" texture on my title and the flourish below it. I then used some light pink ink to dab over the top to blend it with the rest of my layout.

~The bird house and "Adore" frame were just covered with gesso. The bird house I also dabbed with my "shabby tote" ink and then blended again with more gesso to give it an aged look.

Additional Supplies Used:
~Prima Marketing "Fairy Belle" papers
~Prima Marketing & KaiserCraft flowers
~Prima Marketing butterfly
~Martha Stewart butterfly stamp
~Martha Stewart "Double Dot" border punch
~Fiskars Embossing Border Punc "All-A Fleur"
~Zva Creative bling flourish
 ~doily, lace trim

"2nd Birthday" Card

Scrap FX Chipboard used on this card:

~I've again used the texture effect on both pieces here. I love the uneven, rough texture it produces, and just a hint of pink ink is all it needs to blend nicely with the rest of the elements!

 Additional Supplies Used:
~Webster's Pages "Girl Land" papers
~Prima Marketing, Petaloo, & Wild Orchid flowers
~Webster's Pages "Winter Fairy Tales" trim
~KaiserCraft bling
~Fiskars Circle Border Punch "Dancing Daisies"
~doily, ribbon

Thank-you so much for taking a look at my projects today! If you're interested in getting ahold of some Scrap FX products, you can always drop a request at your local scrapbook store :)! Or you can find them online- I've now added the links of the stores online who carry their chipboard- you can find these links in the "Scrap FX Design Team" tab at the top of my blog.

Have a beautiful day and I'll be back again soon!
