But before I start crying again (lol), I need to share with you my reason for posting today. C'est Magnifique has just revealed their very first sneak peek at the August kit, featuring papers from Maja Designs, out of Sweden. And I must say this one is another fave for me!! Here is a look at one of my five projects for the month:
"23 Months"
Here is my beautiful baby boy, just last month :). I love the variety of color available in the August kit. I tend to turn
my photos black and white, but there are certain ones I really feel need
to remain in color- like this one of Gunner. I am in
love with his big brown eyes and the shades of these particular papers
and flowers allowed me to let his beauty shine in color!
Here I've used another fabulous stencil from Scrap FX, "Engineering Stencil, Small". I spread on some texture paste over the mask, dried it with my heat gun, and then used another stencil from The Crafter's Workshop to stamp the chicken wire design over the top.
Some more of the stenciling work...
Still loving book pages! :)...
Here's a look at the papers included in the kit. Seriously, they are incredibly beautiful! Believe it or not, there are actually 30 sheets of paper in this amazing collection from Maja Designs- they are being sold individually or as an entire lot in the C'est Magnifique store here.
The flower add-on:
And the embellishment add-on:
If you love what you've seen so far, head on over to C'est Magnifique and check out how you can join here. Some of the items, including the paper/flower/embellishment add-ons, are already available in the store here.
Thank-you so much for visiting- and putting up with my little emotional rant. I'll get better soon, I'm sure :). But your support means a lot...so thanks.
Take care, wherever you are...

Erin what a beautiful photo of Gunner and I totally understand the yearning for him to stay innocent.
GORGEOUS! I love how soft and pretty this page is, yet still suited for a boy!
It sounds like you have had a wonderful time and happy birthday to your little man. This page is just beautiful and although so pretty, still perfect for a little boy.
Oh your little boy is so adorable.. and yet they have to grow up and become men and then we are even more proud of them.. (My baby boy is 27...sigh...) I love the natural photo of him, and the layout is exquisitely beautiful.. really love all the details.. a really lovely layout to remember the age of your son!!
Beautiful photo and layout. The color of his hair is really beautiful and pops against those papers. On a side note, my little boy turned 2 on Monday. It is hard when they turn two, because they are really not babies any more! Happy Birthday to Gunner!

What a great photo, Erin! I love his little lips...what a beautiful little boy he is :) I love how the photo is front and center in this page...nothing takes away from it. I like the light blue around the photo...it really makes the image pop. Let's try and make time slow way down so our babies stay little!
he is so adorable! and the LO is just perfect for such a cute boy!
Your little boy is a cutie pie! Happy birthday to him! I know mama, time flies too quickly..my last baby is already 13 mos, how's that possible? Your page is absolutely gorgeous!

What a beautiful layout Erin. Just love this one! The Maja papers are so lovely and your photo is so sweet!! Kids growing up is such an adventure - my little boys are now 14 and 17 and I still think of them as my babies and I'm sure I always will...
What a sweet layout for A VERY SWEET BOY.
What a sweet picture of Gunner!! I love how soft the colors are on this and then how you anchored your photo with the dark brown flower! It immediately draws your eye to that cute pic!
