Here is a tag that I created for Day 11, featuring crystals/gems/sugar dots:

"Holly Jolly" Tag
A handmade gift tag for the holidays demands something with a little "extra" to it. I wanted to create something elegant, beautiful, and full of BLING!

I layered different SIIP flourishes amid the lower layers of my tag, while adding bits of sparkle to my flower clusters, my centerpiece, and the bow treatment at the top.

"Hello Gorgeous"~ C'est Magnifique May Kit Sneak!

Good morning and Happy Monday :)~! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend~ we celebrated my niece Paisley's first birthday (aren't firsts the best?!) and got to spend the day with my sister and her family. Sunday was spent unpacking more boxes and getting things organized in our new house. There is so much to yet do- but it's getting there :).

Today I'm here to share with you a first look from me at the May kit from C'est Magnifique. Let me tell you- I think this is my most favorite kit EVER. It is jam-packed with gorgeousness!! AND it makes me almost forget that spring has not yet graced my corner of the world ;)

"Hello Gorgeous"
Pin It
This gorgeous "model-esque" photo of my daughter could not have been more perfect a match for this kit! Between both the stunning Pandore and Webster's papers, I easily pulled each of the bright colors out of my photo and onto my layout. Also, I'm a huge fan of fussy cutting, and there's just a ton of opportunity for that with the May kit! I love that just a few clippings here and there can really bring some body to my clusters, while adding interest and detail.

Webster's Pages: A Classic Tag Set~!

Hey there everyone :). I know- it's been quiet here on my blog. But I'm so happy to share that tomorrow we finally close on the house we're buying and if all goes well, we will be moving in tomorrow afternoon! This home buying process truly has consumed my time, energy, and emotion. But thankfully it's nearly done and I can hopefully get my life back to normal- which definitely means more time for scrapping!

I have been working on things behind the scene, and today I get to share with you a tag set I created in the "classic" style, which on the Webster's Pages blog this week, we have been celebrating both the Classic and Clean & Simple styles- and that no matter your style, it's just as beautiful as the next!

"Classic Tag Set"
 Here you see old, you see new...you see how beautifully Webster's Pages collections can coexist! I've always loved that!

Here's a closer look at each one:

On each tag I've used one of the new Mini Bags- to hide a secret message or whatever you'd like!
On this tag I also showcased the new Ruffled Bloomer Trim, as well as a cameo from the LiveLaughLove Perfect Pack.

 Sunday Picnic, Best Friends, Park Drive- they've all come to play too! What fun to take bits and pieces from each collection and create something harmonious!

No matter your style- Classic or Clean & Simple- you've probably done a little bit of fussy cutting if you've played with Webster's Pages. There are so many images, both big and small, available for all types of fussy cutters. I personally am a patient fussy cutter- and I don't mind trimming out the small stuff :).

Sunday Picnic, Best Friends, Park Drive, and some classic bloomers brought this tag to life :).

This was actually the first tag of the set that I created- and then added more to later on. I love gray/blue/yellow together- and this little guy in the car from the New Beginnings collection was the final touch. He was just mean to be!

Here we have Botanical Christmas, Everyday Poetry, and Sunday Picnic for papers, with a mini bag from Composition & Color- what a mix!

Products Used:

{Paper}

{Embellishments}

{Trims}
Thank-you for coming over today to take a look at my tag set :). I'm hoping to get back to getting around to your blogs after we've settled in to our new house! I've missed everyone a lot- truly. So sorry for my absence.

Take care and I'll be back on Saturday with a new post!

"Too Cute": March Prima BAP~!

Hello! I wanted to start off by apologizing for being so quiet this past month in the scrappy world. I've hardly made it to anyone's blogs and I feel terrible for neglecting my amazing friends. But as you all know, my family has been going through some life changes, and I'm feeling comfortable enough to share that we're in the process of buying a house. It's a long story, and we're sad to leave the home that we've put so much time, money, work, and tears into- but it's what's best for our family. But it has not been an easy road (and for those of you who have bought a home before, I'm sure you understand)- but I'm just feeling so incredibly blessed by God these past few weeks that I just had to share it with you all! Whether you believe in God or not, or choose to be spiritual in other faiths- I hope you have something out there that you believe in. I know that I have felt God's love in such an intense way these past few weeks- with everything He has made possible- every window he has opened when doors have been slammed shut in our faces- I'm just so overwhelmed with gratitude and feel that I'm filled to the brim with His love- I can't hardly suppress it! So if you've been wondering where I'm at- that is what I'm doing. Many hours spent on the phone on a daily basis with so many different people- all the while taking care of three little kids on my own has left me with very little scrap time- or energy. But we're hoping to have everything done within the next few weeks and before we know it, all will be back to normal.

So I'm fine, really. Just busy!

But last night- my husband didn't have to work overtime and was home "early" for once- and I just had to scrap for me! I got a TON of new Prima product from the C'est Magnifique store the other day and wow- how easy it is to create when you've got so many beautiful things to play with! And what better way to use Prima than for a Prima challenge :)~ so here is my entry for this month's Build-A-Page from Prima:

"Too Cute"
I actually took this photo the night before last when Aspen was inside the toy bucket, rolling back and forth. She was just way too cute- and I haven't taken pictures for a few weeks now- so she was ALL about getting her photo taken. And once Gunner saw me taking pictures of her- HE had to have his picture taken too! And these are the two of my three kids who HATE to have their pictures taken! I guess that means I need to take pictures less often...yeah, right ;)

Here is the sketch that inspired this layout:

And some closeups:
These Tatiana flowers are seriously gorgeous. I think I got every color option there was- and I'm now regretting not getting doubles as I can see I will use them up quickly!

I've been obsessively using this Memory Box die- and I probably won't stop until I'm sick of it!

 The Blue Fern Studios "Floral Clock" is another one of those chipboard pieces that I cannot get enough of! So gorgeous...

What do you guys think of the new Prima wood buttons? I LOVE them!! Also, the Cute chipboard piece comes from Blue Fern Studios. I cut it from the Cute Stuff title out of the "Good Vibes" set.

Thanks for letting me share with you today- both my project and a little personal stuff too. I do try my best to keep my blog scrappy related- as much as possible. But when I'm feeling as good as I am today- it's so hard not to share that with the world~! So thanks...

Take care of yourself, okay? So happy you stopped by :)

"A Great Day" w/Webster's Pages~!

**For my February Giveaway, please go HERE**

Hi everyone :). I'm so happy you checked in today because I've got some Webster's Pages inspiration for you, featuring one of their newest releases, New Beginnings~! So let's take a look, shall we?

"A Great Day"
This is a photo of Gunner and our Chihuahua, Luxor, taken last summer. My kids all love animals- and all of them really do so great with them. They've never had that "grab and pull" instinct that most kids seem to have when contacting animals. They have always been so gentle :).

Along with the New Beginnings papers, I've incorporated the die cut paper from the Sunday Picnic collection. I have a habit of stashing these beautiful die cut papers and not using them- so I thought it was time to put this one to use as it coordinated so well with New Beginnings :).

I combined some fussy cutting and die cutting on this layout. What I love so much about Webster's Pages papers are there are always so many images to choose from and mix together. Makes creating even that much more fun~!

The XOXO and LOVE details were cut from some of the *new* washi tapes offered by Webster's Pages. I used one of the rolls from the New Beginnings Washi Tape Set.

The hearts on the tree here were also cut from the same roll of washi tape.

A Brag Book Mini Album w/Webster's Pages~!

**For my February Giveaway, please go HERE**

Hi~! Today I have a mini album to share with you that I created as a "Grandma's Brag Book" for my mom, featuring all of her grandchildren :). I used the breathtakingly beautiful Modern Romance collection from Webster's Pages to put this mini together. I just love how the bright, cheerful colors enhance the sweet smiling faces within :)~!

"Delight the Heart" {Mini Album}

Since I chose to use the stunning images provided on the Modern Romance "Love Defined" paper, I wanted to keep the cover somewhat simple. So I started by adding the trims along the right-hand edge before using some of the *new* Washi Tapes (the orange is from New Beginnings and the pink is from Sweet Notes) from Webster's Pages to create the banners behind my title. I then used a Blue Fern Studios "Organic Vine" to set the stage for my title.

To dress up the edges of my book, I used the coordinating *new* Modern Romance/New Beginnings Ruffled Bloomer Trims. Aren't they amazing??

How about a peek inside?
To start off this book, I thought I'd begin with a sweet Grandmother's Prayer. I then began by designating a page to each one of my mom's grandkids, starting with my Wyatt :).

On each page I included overlays cut from the Sweet Notes and Composition and Color collections. I like how the pops of black look against all that color :).

I also added a little bit of fussy cut elements here and there, as well as some classic embellishment favorites like the owl charm and the button w/twine :).

I've used washi tapes from all of the new collections throughout this album. Here I've used them to create borders on my pages.

You might have also noticed the cute little bows I used in a couple of different pages, like the brown polka dot bow you see here. These little bow sets are part of the fun & affordable "Quick Picks" program offered by Webster's Pages. See the full collection HERE~!

"Be Beautiful"~ February Prima PPP

**For my February Giveaway, please go HERE**

Good morning, everyone~! This week has just flown by for me- despite sick kids and my husband's back injury- it really has just passed so quickly. And I've been so busy creating- for a little while there, I had been feeling a little bit lost. But I'm happy to report that my mojo is back and I've been playing whenever possible :). So today I have another "personal" project to share, and this time it's for the February Prima PPP which offers a beautiful color palette that just so happened to work perfectly with a recent photo of my sweetie pie Aspen :).

"Be Beautiful"
I've been having so much fun using the new Prima collections, and here I've combined a bit of Lifetime and Divine. I actually did a video of this layout's process- but my camera died just before finishing. So unfortunately I won't be sharing it- but it's something I will be trying again in the future. My sister Kelly and I tend to feed off of one another- and for a long time we've talked about doing video tutorials. When she finally decided to tackle the task, I did too. Although she has been a bit more successful that myself ;)~ I'll get there eventually...

And of course here's a little bit of a closer look:

I added in just a hint of the mint green color to tie this palette together with my photo :). LOVE that color...

 My little girly pants is almost always wearing her hat and boots. So adorable :).

That's all for now. Thanks so much for letting me share with you :)
Have a beautiful day~!
