June Prima Build-A-Page

**If you're here for my Housewarming GIVEAWAYS, please go---> HERE!**

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good weekend :). I had the chance to get some scrapping done yesterday and so I wanted to quick pop on here and share with you my layout for the June Prima Build-A-Page. To be honest, I'm still not sure what to think of this one...it's just a bit dark for me and the colors are kinda different- but here we are anyways!

"Handsome"
I must say, my Gunner IS quite handsome- perhaps that's my problem with the page? No layout can compete with his striking good looks, lol!! ;)...

Here's the sketch for this month, designed by the talented Heidi Kelley:

And a closer look...
The "Handsome" title is from Scrap FX- seriously, they have just about any title you can think of! LOVE them!!

I pulled in just some hints of green from the background of my photo by using just a few green-tinted flowers and this beautiful trim from Prima (which I actually won in a RAK from Heidi Kelley herself!!)...

All of the papers on this layout are from the Prima "Almanac" collection, which I adore, including these bits of rolled papers, which were distressed with a scissor edge.

This is my favorite part of this layout. I used my brick mask and a combination of texture paste and brown crackle paint. While it was still wet, I threw on a handful of seed beads and very lightly pressed them in before drying with my heat gun.

So glad you stopped in! I noticed that I'm VERY near 250 followers, which means Giveaway #5 will soon be revealed!! See keep an eye out!!

See you soon...

I would love to see you in working mode, there must be beads, paint, glitter everywhere! (not saying you are messy... :) lol...love the little beads scattered around, and yes Gunner is so handsome, I still say that Dr. Wilson must have looked like Gunner when he was a baby. :)

I think it is stunning and I love how the black pops off the page because the other colours are so muted! :)

This is really quite beautiful, Erin, it always seems that the ones you claim you don't like very much are my favorites!! I'm in love with the rolled paper with the bits of sparkle hidden in them, and the tiny beads you scattered, too! Gorgeous work!!

Wow! this layout looks amazing! I love the look of the brick features with the beads.. and all the layers, and I love the masculine feel to this even though it is really beautiful!! and your lovely eyes layout is so gorgeous too.. and kids know when they shouldn't do something, but they will test the boundaries anyways... but do they have to look so cute doing it haha!!

Wow! What a beautiful page!!! I love the depth with all the layers of flowers and goodies. I have enjoyed scrolling through pages of your blog as well. Beautiful work!
Congrats on the OUAS DT! Fun to see a fellow Minnesotan. ;) I am from the Twin Cities, but jumped the border to WI. Just barely though. I am about 10 miles from the border of the two states. But, I do love to venture around the North Shore. It's my family's favorite area.
I am excited to see your beautiful creations on Nadia's blog. :)
