My final Creative Scrappers reveal...

**If you're here for my Housewarming GIVEAWAYS, please go---> HERE!**

Good morning everyone :). Tomorrow will mark a week since revealing my new blog and I cannot believe I've already hit 200 followers!! So I've posted a 4th Giveaway to thank you all for your continued enthusiasm and support- THANK-YOU!! Remember, you have until June 30th at midnight to enter/share with your friends...

Today I'm here to show you my final layout as a DT member at Creative Scrappers. I've really, really enjoyed being on this fabulous team!! Thank-you to Kristine Davidson for seeing something in me and allowing me to design for you these last few months- it's been fun!! :D

"Girl"
As I've mentioned, I've been on a bit of a Webster's Pages kick lately, and I've yet again used the beautiful and feminine "Girl Land" collection for this one :). I am just in LOVE with the colors found in these papers...just so fitting for my sweet baby girl Aspen...

Here is Sketch #213 from Creative Scrappers:

And some details for you as well:

Here's yet another gorgeous Scrap FX wordlet title. I LOVE the ultra-fine script here- so elegant. And who couldn't help but fussy cut out this shoe and dress it up a bit?? I added the Webster's Pages bling strips along the sole for a little sparkly touch :).

Yep, I told you my new obsession was pretty bows. I have no idea where this ribbon came from but it was sitting in my stash, just waiting for the perfect place...I think I found it ;). And gotta love the Webster's bloomer trims- this green one fit in and matched just beautifully.

This pretty lamp shade is also from Scrap FX. I dabbed on some texture effect with a paint brush before topping off this piece with some more "pretties" from the bling strip.

Supplies Used:
~Webster's Pages "Girl Land" collection papers
~Scrap FX chipboard title & lamp shade
~Prima Marketing, Manor House Creations, Petaloo, & KaiserCraft flowers
~Webster's Pages Bloomer Trim
~Webster's Pages Bling Strip
~Kaiser Craft bling
~Martha Stewart Deep Edger Floral Punch
~Martha Stewart "Optic Dot" border punch
~Martha Stewart Texture Effect
~gesso, ribbon

I hope you have all had enjoyable weekends :)- it's been a busy one for us and I look forward to getting some more done on our house project and getting outside a bit. I got the fishing poles all ready last night and would love to get some time out on the lake...but we shall see...

Take care of you ;),

Gorgeous details and only you could add a "heeled shoe" to a baby page and make it look like it was always meant to be there. Just fabulous. Love it.

Very pretty!

Question: Will you put this in a book? It's kind of bulky, so won't he bow, etc. get crushed?

Unknown said...

Hi Robin, thank-you :). I'm not sure if I'll put it in a book yet- and actually, this one is not as bulky as some of mine, lol...I've been setting aside some to put in 12x12 shadow box frames and this might be one of them...we'll see. I'm pretty bad at keeping up with my albums anyway! So they sit in storage containers, just waiting for me to decide what I want to do with them...

Cute layout--I love the shoe!

I recognize the ribbon you used--I believe it is from the October Afternoon "Five and Dime" Miscellany Pack.

I think this layout would fit just fine in an album--especially if you use the D-ring kind. It has a lot of embellishments, but they are all more or less flat.
