Good morning :)~! Today is the first day of CHA and to all you lucky ducks out there who were able to go- I hope you have a blast and I wish I was there! But instead of being in sunny California, I'm here in ice storm quickly turning snow storm Minnesota...ah well, what am I to do? I guess I can start looking forward to Summer CHA which I plan to attend! How about you?
Today however, I am here to share with you the first of three projects created for Manor House Creations this month. And because I'm here pouting about not going to CHA, I thought I'd show you first a layout that describes EXACTLY how I feel, lol...
"Snow Fun { At All }"
Being stuck here in cold, wintery Minnesota at the moment TRULY is "snow fun at all", lol...as my daughter felt here after falling in the snow. I got some really great pictures of her in the spam of about five minutes on this day- which you may have already seen on a past project. But when she fell in the snow and her little hands and bottom were all cold and covered, the fun came to a halt!
A closer look:
I was inspired by this pink/burgundy/lilac color combination. I don't think I've ever used it before but it was perfect for a girly/winter layout :). There are so many gorgeous MHC blooms to choose from and I've included both new and old varieties in this project.
My hidden journaling. I always include some type of journaling or at least names/dates SOMEWHERE on my project, usually hidden. I feel it's important to record the memory and not just create a pretty page :).
I'm not sure where the accordion banner idea came from- I've probably seen it somewhere before, maybe not. But it was fun to do something different with it :). I love how the drops of glossy accents reflect the melting snow on my daughter's little warm hands :)- I know, sounds kinda cheesy- but that's me :D~!!
Products Used:
I hope your weekend is off to a great start~! I'll be back soon with more MHC projects to share :)- until then, be good~!!

Oh my goodness, Erin, this is simply breathtaking! I love the colors (which are my personal favorite), the flowers and all the sparkle. We are having a very mild couple of days here, very unseasonable. You can send me some of that snow! lol
BTW, love the bows, too! How do you make them so perfect?

It is such a sweet, girly lay-out. I love that you went outside the box a bit and used soft pink on this wonderful winter lay-out. I just love the cute flag that you used too.
